
Wholesome Granola Bars

Ingredients
- ¾ cup (1½ sticks) butter, softened, divided
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup seedless raspberry jam
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 cup granola (without dried fruit)
- ½ cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals Chopped Pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In mixing bowl cream ½ cup butter and powdered sugar; stir in flour until well combined.
- With lightly floured fingers pat dough into ungreased 9-nch square pan; bake 10 minutes. Remove; cool 10 minutes.
- Spread jam evenly over crust.
- Combine in bowl remaining ¼ cup melted butter, honey, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in oats, granola, pecans, and chocolate. Pat firmly over jam layer.
- Bake 28-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven; cool completely before cutting into squares.

Tonight is the 3rd time I've made this yummy danish. We've eaten it for dessert as well as breakfast and love it! I use 1/2cup each of the flour and confectioners sugar for the first layer and it is so good. Also, the first time I made it I used orange marmalade jelly (I didn't have the raspberry jam), the 2nd time I used grape jelly and tonight I used strawberry preserves.
