You’ll love our homemade, spiced nuts recipe — featuring crunchy, delicious Fisher® Pecan Halves!

Yield: 8 servings (½ cup each)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Halves
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover/cook on high for 15 minutes, then switch to low and continue cooking, uncovered, stirring occasionally for 2 hours.
  3. Remove nuts, spread on a sheet pan and allow to cool.

Just gave these as a Christmas gift to coworkers. Everyone loves them. Super easy to make in the crock pot, which is nice because you can use the oven for other things. A great alternative to sweets during the holidays.
