Crunchy Cranberry Granola

Our delicious granola recipe gets a nutty spin when we combine the tastes and textures of chopped walnuts, sliced almonds, cinnamon and sweet cranberries.

Yield: 5 cups

  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups rolled oats (not quick cooking)
  • ½ cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Walnuts Halves and Pieces, coarsely chopped
  • ¼ cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Sliced Almonds
  • ½ cup flaked coconut
  • ¼ cup unsalted pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup unsalted roasted sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup Fisher® Dried Sweetened Cranberries


  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. In small bowl combine oil, maple syrup, molasses, almond extract and cinnamon; stir well.
  3. In large mixing bowl combine oats, walnuts, coconut, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. Slowly pour maple syrup mixture over at mixtures; toss to coat.
  4. Spread oat mixture evenly onto parchment-lined large jelly roll pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown; stirring halfway through baking.
  5. Remove from oven; cool slightly. Stir in cranberries; cool completely.
