Honey Ginger Glazed Carrots

Honey, ginger and pecans, oh my! This quick and easy side dish comes together in less than 20 minutes. But the result is a sweet, spicy and crunchy vegetable. Made possible by the delicious Fisher® Pecan.

  • 1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into slices
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tsp. finely chopped peeled fresh gingerroot
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecans
  • ¼ tsp. salt


  1. Boil 3 cups of water in a medium saucepan over high heat. Add carrots and cook uncovered, until tender, about 8 minutes.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl. Drain carrots well and toss with honey glaze.
