3 Nut Pie

Try this spin on a classic pecan pie and use all of your favorite Fisher Nuts – pecans, walnuts and almonds.

Yield: 8 servings
Skill Level: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Karo® Light OR Dark Corn Syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals Pecan Halves
  • ½ cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Walnut Halves and Pieces
  • ½ cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Sliced Almonds
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen deep-dish pie crust

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla using a spoon. Stir in nuts. Pour filling into pie crust.
  3. Bake on center rack of oven for 60 to 70 minutes (see tips for doneness, below). Cool for 2 hours on wire rack before serving.

 

Recipe Tips:

Pie is done when the center reaches 200°F. Tap center surface of pie lightly - it should spring back when done.

This could not be any easier! Definitely a keeper :)

Loved it. Used pecan pieces, sliced almonds and pinion nuts (don't like walnuts), and it turned out wonderfully. Didn't last long and look forward to making it again!

This pie is incredible! The flavor of the almond, pecan, and walnut combination really give this pie the WOW factor. I'm making this recipe for Christmas as well. Easy and delicious.
