White Chocolate and Orange Almond Truffles

Orange rind and Fisher® Sliced Almonds take these homemade truffles over the top. The almond slices are crunchy enough to add a perfect texture but not so overpowering to drown out the citrus from the orange or sweetness of the white chocolate.

Prep Time: 25 minutes plus refrigeration
Yield: 30 truffles


  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups (12 oz.) white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. finely grated orange rind.
  • 1 cup chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Sliced Almonds, divided


  1. Place cream, chocolate and orange rind in a heat-proof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Heat, stirring occasionally until the chocolate is melted. Stir in ¼ cup chopped almonds. Place bowl in refrigerator and chill until firm, about 1 to 2 hours.
  2. Scoop chocolate mixture by scant tablespoons and roll into balls. Roll balls in remaining ¾ cup chopped almonds. Chill until ready to serve.
