
Simply Delicious Walnut Oatmeal
Our oatmeal recipe gets even sweeter and nuttier when topped with chopped walnuts and garnished with fresh sliced fruit.

Ingredients
- 3 ¾ cups water
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 4 teaspoons butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup non-dairy creamer
- 4 tablespoons milk
- ½ cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Chopped Walnuts
- Sliced strawberries, bananas and/or blueberries for garnish
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, heat water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; stir in oats. Cook until oats have thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Place butter and 4 tablespoons brown sugar in the bottom of a bowl. Pour oatmeal into the bowl and stir until butter and sugar are melted. Pour non-dairy creamer and milk into bowl and stir until incorporated.
- Pour mixture into 4 serving bowls and top with each with another tablespoon of brown sugar and 1/8 cup walnuts. Serve hot.
- Garnish with your favorite fruit, such as strawberries, bananas and/or blueberries.
