Parsley, Garlic & Pecan Pasta

To make perfect light pasta topping that everyone will love, simply sauté garlic, parsley and Fisher® Pecan Halves.

Yield: 4 servings
Skill Level: Easy


  • 8 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 4 medium cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals Pecan Halves, coarsely chopped
  • ½ cup (2 oz.) fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup snipped fresh parsley leaves
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and pecans; sauté 2 minutes.
  3. In large serving bowl combine pasta, pecan mixture, cheese, parsley and pepper; toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.


made this tonight with just a tweak since I had no fresh parsley on hand, I used some dried parsley and added about a half cup of chopped, fresh spinach. So good! We loved it!

This is absolutely delicious. It's easy to fix, and a favorite with my whole family.
