Sour Cream Pecan Waffles

Waffles always taste better when your favorite flavors are involved. Try adding a Fisher® Pecan Halves to the batter along with a touch of vanilla and sour cream.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Yield: 6 waffles


  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Pecan Halves


  1. Heat waffle iron. Whisk first 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and form a well in the center. Pour the wet mixture to the well and gently stir in with the dry. Don't worry if there are a few lumps.
  3. When iron is hot, spray lightly with non-stick spray. Spoon about 3/4 cup of batter onto the center of the iron and cook until a golden brown crust forms.


Recipe Tips:

Note: Waffles can be reheated in a toaster, set on low.
