Apple Walnut Quick Bread

Everybody’s favorite Apple Cinnamon Bread just got better! Add Fisher® Walnuts into the mix for a crunch that you’ll wonder how you ever did without.

Cook Time: 50 minutes


  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. double-acting baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1½ cups grated Granny Smith apples (about 1 large)
  • ½ cup chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Walnuts


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Whisk oil, sugar, honey and eggs together in a large bowl until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Spoon batter into prepared loaf pan bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Let bread sit for 10 minutes then turn out onto a rack, and let cool completely.


I made the bread completely following the recipe, it was absolutely delicious! I made it for Sunday family brunch, and everyone loved it!w
